單片式 LCD 液晶面板投影技術其主要原理，與過往學校、辦公室使用的老式「幻燈片投影機」相似，它是使用一個半透明的 LCD 液晶顯示螢幕，當光源穿過時，將圖像投影至鏡子上。 然後鏡子再透過鏡頭反射，放大投影至投影幕、牆面上。
